“Supporting women diagnosed with cancer has given new meaning to my own experience.

Sometimes my cancer made me feel like I was in a dark place inhabited by ghosts. But this course lighted a way for me to reach out, hear truths, debunk myths and break taboos. It allowed me to advance with responsibility, conviction and purpose towards what lies beyond cancer.

Soul Reconnect’s Training course for caring for people with cancer taught me how to incorporate new, useful, innovative tools into my everyday work as a patient coach. Teresa Ferreiro’s extensive experience, professionalism, and benevolence in mentoring a highly cohesive and diverse group of participants made each unit a unique experience. Through the course, we deepened our understanding of the patient’s inner world and critical concerns by analysing and discussing practical cases and learning how to implement useful tools.

Although that alone surpassed all my expectations, it was the experience of the safe place where I discovered freedom and awareness. It was a catalyst for empowerment. The course struck a delicate balance between my inner world and professional practice.

And once the storm abates, you will not remember how you made it through. You will not even be sure if the storm is really over. One thing that is for sure, though, is that when you emerge from that storm, you will not be the person you were when you went into it. That’s what the storm is all about.”
